We are unique! There is no other restaurant known to us who can boast of roasting the coffee they serve. You will never have a more satisfying coffee experience than when you are dining at our cafe. “Plain and Simple” fresh roasted coffee makes the food taste better, “That’s It”.  Currently we serve a caffeinated French Roast that is 100% organic.  Our decaf is Swiss-Watered Processed which means that it is 100% chemical free purification.  It is a very expensive way of doing business but we felt our customers deserved the best. And guess what? We leave a pot at your table with endless re-fills.

Trite but true, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Advertize and promote.
Have a great chef, a crew that supports him and let him do what he does best and leave him alone.
Get a decent manager, who is dedicated and committed to the concept.
Hire servers who are nice, competent and have some level of empathy, are hard working, show up on time and can work well in a team environment.
Create an environment that is esthetically pleasing and comfortable for customers.
Create a menu with enough variety, make it fresh, keep it tasty, make it affordable, make it unique, make it simple, … and on and on…
Create a set of principles by which you operate.
Be involved in your community
Be flexible and don’t ever marry your menu.
Pay attention to details.
Keep up with maintenance.
Stay on top of your bookkeeping.
Keep your place clean.
Do not count your money till the end of the day.
Do not ever, knee jerk a decision.
Always take care of your customers first.
